When taking photographs, be mindful of the background.
If not, something may pop-up. . . . . . .
"And if these pictures have anything important to say to future generations, it's this: I was here. I existed. I was young, I was happy, and someone cared enough about me in this world to take my picture. " – Robin Williams

Possibilities of Summer
I don't know what your destiny will be, but one thing I know: the only ones among you who will be really happy are those who will have sought and found how to serve.
-A. Schweitzer
NOW IS A GOOD TIME FOR A BOOKDRIVE. Tapos na schoolyear. At sana pinasa niyo lahat ng klase ninyo para madonate niyo na yang mga librong yan sa Bookbigayan project ng Rock Ed.
Chillitees, TopJunk, Manibela, Kastigo, Sugarfree, Angulo, and more more.
The first summer-Tuesday night is a good night to donate your used/old books from the recent semester and the ones before.
Because Holy Week is a good time to clean out your room, shelves and desks of books you no longer need.
March 25 2008
Starts around 830pm. (para sa mga may curfew)
Saguijo.
Make this the summer you had ideals in your ideas on how to pass the time.
Make Summer 2008 -- the summer you made sense.
Email us info@rockedphilippines.org if your group/org/barkada has a summer-project in mind for Rock Ed's Project VIA (Volunteers Initiative for the Arts--- a series of artcamps for streetkids), Project: Rehas (detainee and inmate support projects), Ibang Klase (alternative classrooms in barangays, "Pasa Arte" in Iloilo), or FutKal (Futbol sa Kalye) or Bookbigayan (the bookdrive, "LIBRock" in Cagayan de Oro). Deaf Ed (dance workshops with and for the hearing impaired --learn basic signing!) etc etc. Or a topic for this summer on Rock Ed Radio --alternative Social Studies class on FM. NU107.5 Sundays @8pm.
